RCR 19-031 Driver Allan Davis is fined $150 for interference, past the 3/4 pole, while driving ROAR OF APPROVAL in the 2nd race on 10/6/19 @ Rosecroft Raceway. ROAR OF APPROVAL finished 5th but was placed 7th.

RCR 19-032 Driver Jonathan Roberts is fined $100.00 for failing to keep both feet in the stirrups while driving B A ROCKET in the 13th race on 10/13/2019 at Rosecroft Raceway.

October 20, 2019 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 19-033 Kenneth Schlotzhauer, for being the trainer of record on sample #15372 taken on 10/2/2019 from the mare CARIBBEAN SAM-NIN for the 13th race at Rosecroft Raceway. The sample was found to contain benzoylecgonine. CARIBBEAN SAM-NIN finished 2nd but has been disqualified and placed 8th. There will be a redistribution of the purse. Any purse monies collected for the 2nd place finish must be returned within 10 days. With the mitigating circumstances no fine or suspension was warranted.

RCR 19-034 Driver Justin Vincent is fined $100 for failing to keep both feet in the stirrups while driving CAVIART MADDEN in the 4th race on 10/20/2019 at Rosecroft Raceway.

RCR 19-035 Trainer Joe Offutt has withdrawn his appeal. Under the New MRC RULE, Mr. OFFUTT is fined $1000- and 30-days training suspension. Suspension to begin on 12/21/2019 and end 1/19/2020. "HICKORY ALOHA" IS Barred from racing until 1/19/2020. All purse monies must be returned within 72 hours of ruling.

October 20, 2019 - Rosecroft Raceway
RCR 19-036 Arlene Cameron, for being "trainer of record" on blood sample #14718 taken on 10/23/2019 from the filly TINY TIARA for the 10th race at Rosecroft Raceway and as the sample was found to contain a total Carbon Dioxide (TCO2) concentration of 41.7 mmol/L (+/-) 0.5 mmol/L Ms. Cameron is fined $2,500 and suspended from training for 90 days. During this suspension she and all horses trained by her are barred from all grounds under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Racing Commission. Any transfer of horses during this suspension must be approved by the Judges at Rosecroft Raceway or the Maryland Racing Commission. TINY TIARA is barred from racing for 30 days and must re-qualify before being eligible to enter a race.

RCR 19-037 Groom Eldridge Baynard is given a full suspension for a personal positive test (Cocaine). Suspension will end upon completion of an authorized professional evaluation that determines the individual’s condition is non-addictive and detrimental to racing. Mr.Baynard must provide the results of a blood test which indicates that the individual is drug free.
